Pip Taylor took first place in the Memphis in May Triathalon Sunday, May 17.
Pip has won the Memphis in May Triathlon from 2006 Hawaii Ironman Champion Michellie Jones.
The Olympic Distance event held over a time trial format with participants starting 10 seconds apart saw Pip exit the water with a 1.35 lead over Jones. Pip extended her lead on the bike to 2 minutes before running comfortably to the win in 1hr 59min 36sec to Michellies 2hr 01min 28sec with Jessica Meyers in third.
Pip's next race will be the Ironman 70.3 Kansas on June 14.
